Just as Blue said - I can confirm that I do keep in contact with plenty of people from here! I do remember you, Swifty, if you are the same as I'm thinking of. I know a couple of people still from here and keep in contact with them. Unfortunately, overall, the community as a whole is pretty dead so you won't find us all together anymore, but I'm sure we could find most people who were here a lot if you want to catch up with anyone in particular.

Unfortunately, none of the animators are on this site anymore. This was the original site, but they decided to move to ssswarriorcats.boards.net/ and they can now all be found there (if you're lucky enough to see them logging on...).

Brookpaw's ears drooped a little as her mentor asked if she had scented anything funny. She hadn't been paying much attention when they were led to the next marker. She flicked her tail in wonder, when she remember a weird, musky smell that had been very, very stale. The apprentice's ears shot up once more and she bounced in excitement, ready to impress her mentor. "There was a funny-smelling stale cat scent! It smelled like the cat had rolled in dirt and then rolled in dung and then rolled in more dirt!" she purred excitedly, unaware of how dumb that probably sounded with her tail high in the air. Nothing that Birchgrove said registered in her mind, as she was too busy hopping around happily, ready to prove herself.

Robinfeather dipped his head in understanding, glancing back over to search for nearby dead foliage that might contain the cobweb. He wasn't particularly fond of spiders when taking into consideration their eight-legged existence and alien-like appearance, so it wasn't too big of a deal that he would have to rip apart their homes for the sake of medicine. He peered into a nearby dead log, disappointed when he couldn't find the glimmering silver web. He noted Speckledlily's excitement, and picked up the pace a little to catch up to her. "Is it just me that feels a little ridiculous around the medicine cats?" he mewed calmly, glancing back at them with a glint in his eye. "They know so much about their field, and I know so little!" Robinfeather purred, hoping the she-cat would not take him seriously.

Jetstar grabbed a few stems, making sure to leave the roots like Stormsight had asked. He didn't grab as many as her, simply as he knew he had to grab the prey on the way back, too. He then eyed his warrior and medicine cat amusingly, twitching his whiskers in thought. Stormsight seemed as happy as she could be with the herbs, and he was glad to see her so pleased. She was a true medicine cat. And of course, Aspenfur being willing to leap in and help right away just showed his caring characteristics. It was important for the Clan to have such worthy members, and those two were prime examples. "Is there anything else you need to pick up?" he mewed curiously, tail waving.

That's great! If I read that in a roleplay I'd be very happy with the level of which you're writing. Be careful with some words, because they don't always fit the situation or they can sound off. For example, "a stale scent of a fox was lingering around tediously" feels a little odd, because 'tedious' isn't commonly used to describe scent trails as it normally means "tiring". Also you say "a she-cat Hawkfang preferably noted" - "preferably" means "ideally" and that suggests that your cat prefers that she was a she-cat than anything else? I'm not sure if that's what you originally meant - but if it is, then ignore this correction. However this a vast amount of improvement from your original post and I encourage you to continue - mainly with fixing grammatical errors now. Also, to make things generally easier, in roleplays I always bold dialogue so that it's better to read for other people. You'll see me doing this in this post. ----------------------------------------------- Sammy recklessly wandered the forest, the sound of her pawsteps increasing in both speed and noise as she cared less and less for alerting other animals of her presence. She had yet to see anyone, and so she had yet to concern herself with the worry of being attacked. However, that problem was quickly resolved when a huge tom leaped directly behind her and spoke. In shock, the young she-cat launched into the air, eyes wide and fur standing vertically on her back. She whipped around with her claws unsheathed, hissing and spitting in an attempt to defend herself before she realized that he, first of all, could probably crush her spine with one movement of his paws, and that he also seemed genuinely curious in her. It was comforting, at least, that he seemed as if he didn't want to kill her, if only because his eyes and stance were so playful. She released the tenseness of her muscles and sheathed her claws, the fur on her back slowly lowering as she cautiously eyed the bigger cat. " A kittypet? Twoleg?" she meowed carefully, taking a step back in case she angered the muscular wildcat. Sammy had heard stories of these wildcats, but she'd only heard bad things. Never had she heard anyone say that they were playful and curious about the life of housecats. " I've heard it was dangerous out here but I figured it wouldn't be so bad. I've never seen anything out here that could be terrifying, and I've spent many days on top of my fence looking out over the moors," Sammy finally answered, before finally deciding to sit down and mimic the position of the tom in front of her, with her tail wrapped around her front paws.

Brookpaw flicked her ears in annoyance. Why did the deputy deserve such praise? Sure, whatever, some big important cat with nine lives picked him. Cool story, but did that really mean he was better than her? Realizing that arguing would just lead to more punishments, she remained quiet, silently brooding. However, when he asked her to lead them to the first marker she perked her ears in curiosity. Maybe she could prove herself as a warrior! She bounced forward, her infectious charisma returning as her tail quivered in excitement. She tried to calm herself, thinking about how her mentor would act if she was asked to lead the patrol. "As Birchgrove said," she eyed the older cat, hoping he appreciated her using his full name, "Make sure to keep an eye on the border. If we're lucky we might actually see something," she meowed impatiently, but she found herself cringing a little. She sounded bossy. She didn't like that. Whatever. She padded alongside the border, feeling her pace quicken as she began to become incapable of holding back her excitement. When they reached the first marker and she scented it, she finally exploded. "So, how'd I do? I led everyone, I didn't trip, nor did I yell loudly! I kept an eye out for what was going on...did I do OK?" she bounced around her mentor, meowing away.

Robinfeather remained quiet, before eyeing Softpaw in interest. It's odd how young she was, really, but she already was training and developing an understanding of how to aid cats. It was honourable, in fact, and her maturity was impressive for one at such a young age. "Although you may be excited, Leaf-fall tends to be something no cat looks forward to." he mewed in response, twitching his tail before glancing at Silverblossom for the plan. "Which herbs will you be looking for? What do they look like? I'm sure four pairs of eyes will be better than two, considering I have no experience in finding herbs," the deputy questioned, glancing uncertainly at all the plants around them.
