OOC: Yeah, in my school. They don't even have half the books. IC: "Thanks!" He yowled up the ditch. He basically hugged the vine and shimmied up the natural rope. He used his claws to hook into the side of the ditch to climb out. He rolled over when he got out of the ditch. He was panting hard. "Somebody get Lone some cobwebs!" He said to no one in particular, as he stood up. Shadowpaw's eyes darted everywhere. He jumped into the fray with Ratscar and Petalpaw. "Gah, it's that demon!" One of the rogues yowled as a few of them peeled away. But the rest stayed. "Good to see that you guys were taking care of the masses." Shadowpaw joked at Ratscar. "You guys alright?" He asked.

"Well, what are you waiting for, half-blood," Bloodtalon questioned Felix, laughing. "Are you going to kill him, or are you going to kill them?" His teeth were bared in a deadly smile, showing a good set of razor sharp teeth, much like Felix had never seen. The dark red tom looked at the smaller rogue, right into the eyes, almost into his soul maybe.
"No, not yet," The tabby rogue answered in anger, unsheathing his claws to break the dirt up below him. "His time will come, I will be the one to kill him. I will be the one to kill both him and the other you speak of." He easily found that Bloodtalon was not talking about the clancats. He knew the Dark Forest cat was speaking of Brock, the so called leader of all of these rogues. "I want to speak to you again, when I visit the Deathclan remnants. They need to see their ancestors are still around them." Felix looked back at him, not showing any signs of fear from this. He was determined to carry out whatever he wanted to do at his own will now, feeling the rage boil within him once more.
"Well then, so be it as you wish," The dark red Deathclan warrior spoke greatly, walking by Felix and back into the darkness he came from. For a short moment, he was still slightly visible. Then he began to fade, until becoming nothing but the shadows he'd come out of.

'Gah! How stupid am I?' Thought Solstice, who had let her mind become so clouded with thoughts about Brock that she couldn't even listen correctly. She shook her head before meowing, "Oh, okay..." She was more irritated at herself now, and decided to get to the point. "You smell like a kittypet. Why aren't you with your twolegs?" She forced herself to concentrate on Lune and ignore any lingering thoughts of Brock.
Petalpaw gritted her teeth at the pain in her shoulder and ran forward through the remaining rogues toward Kestrelpaw's disappearing figure. "Kestrelpaw! Wait!" She called after him.
As the rogues began to ease off, Frostclaw's job of protecting Woodkit grew easier. He meowed to the kit, "You are in for SUCH a scolding when we get back you don't even know." He tackled another rogue and sank his teeth into his neck with careful control and precision as to not puncture the throat. The rogue scrambled to his paws and ran off, disappearing into the shadows of the night. After that, Frostclaw found himself without an opponent left. He remarked to a surprisingly unbroken yet soaking wet Shadowpaw, "Glad to see you in one piece." Then began attacking the rogues surrounding Ratscar from behind.
OOC: How did Kestrelpaw/Barker leave Darkclan? Would Petalpaw have known about it? And how did he supposedly 'die'? I need to know for future posts as Petalpaw.

Lune growled, not wanting to think of the twoleg who betrayed her. "I'm no longer a kittypet!" she spat. "Twolegs can go extinct for all I care!" she added with a growl. She neverwanted to see another twoleg again. She felt a pang in her chest. A part of her missed Grace, but she pushed the feeling away, denying any sort of attachment.

Jumping back in astonishment, Solstice looked at Lune sideways. She had never met a kittypet that wasn't terrified of everything that casted a shadow, so this was an exception to her. "Well then," She started curiously, "Where do you plan on going?" Even a kittypet should know her way around, she thought.

Woodkit flattened his ears at Frostclaw's remark; he was right. Though he didn't think about it much, as his paws were exhausted from holding the reed. Ignoring the tiredness, he lunged at the nearest rogue and started clawing it's pelt, but lost his grip when too much tufts of fur got caught between his claws. Again he hurried over to where Lone and Shadowpaw- or was it Nightwolf?- were. "Shadowpaw! Er, wait, Nightwolf? Whoever you are! How's Lone doing?" Woodkit took a horrified look at the coughing and spluttering body of Lone. "Is he gonna be okay?"

OOC: Guys, I don't think Lit said Lone was as close to death as to start coughing out blood at a fast rate.

Lune faltered a bit, looking at her paws. "Um... Actually I don't." She almost added that she'd never been past her backyard, but kept her mouth shut. She didn't want to seem weak. Who are you kidding? You have no claws. You ARE weak! she thought to herself.

OOC: right, srry bout that frostclaw. I'd viewed so many posts from she cats that I just forgot who was who! Edited the post, btw.
IC: Woodkit look a last glance at Lone, and hurried away without waiting for an answer from Shadowpaw. He ducked under the belly of a rogue and rolled over to claw at it's fur. He had heard enough from the mentors training their apprentices to know that the belly of a cat was the most unprotected place to strike. Sure enough, seconds later the rogue was rearing up trying to get him off. With that Woodkit darted to another rogue and bit it hard on the tail. Meanwhile, Woodkit thought about what Frostclaw had said again. 'Oh geez,' thought Woodkit, 'What if they make me wait another moon to become an apprentice?' he clawed himself up the spine of the rogue. 'No, they wouldn't do that. Would they? Hm. Maybe they would restrict me from going out of camp for a moon! No, two moons! And a warrior would have to watch me even when I was at the dirtplace. Yuck!' he cuffed a rogue on the ear, then his blood ran cold at a sudden thought, 'What if...what if they exile me?'

Solstice narrowed her eyes, trying to see through Lune's seclusiveness to the real reason of why she would be in this situation. She held up a paw to indicate the sarcastic practicality of her next sentence, "Wait, so you're telling me that you left your twolegs for no reason without any idea of where you are going to go and only a basic knowledge of the area at best." She put her paw down and shook her head and meowed more earnestly, "There's obviously something that you're not telling me."

Lune narrowed her eyes, keeping her face unreadable. "And what if I'm not?" she mewed, giving Solstice a challenging stare. What had happened was her own buisness, and letting these cats know her weakness was a bad idea.

"Then I suggest you stay out of this place, unless you want to be attacked; Brock doesn't take kindly to trespassers." Solstice retorted. "Now then, since it seems you've made up your mind, I'll be willing to show you the way out of here so our cats don't have to fight you unnecessarily." Despite their previous quarrel, Solstice was rather genuine about this offer, and she didn't think that a cat who had lived most of her life as a kittypet would have much luck fighting off a group of rogues.

Lune grumbled, looking down at her paws. She was tempted to refuse the offer and find her own way out, but there was one little problem. She didn't know the way out. Reluctantly she nodded, her eyes fixed on a puddle of blood. She shuddered and turned away from it.

Solstice followed Lune's gaze toward the puddles of blood and dead bodies, noticing the way she shuddered at the sight, she felt a pang of some emotion for her. Was it... Pity? No... Sympathy? No... She really had no clue, but it made her warm up to the she cat. Solstice beckoned with her tail for Lune to follow her and allowed herself one final glance back at Brock. Then, it dawned on her: It wasn't a feeling, it was the small and basic acknowledgement that a life meant something to Lune, which is more than any of the Deathclan remnants ever thought. Solstice led the way deeper into the twolegplace; where the rogues who followed Brock rarely went.

Brock stopped, again being overrun by the various bloody thoughts and history that ran throughout his mind. He felt like he was going to need to kill someone, anyone in the matter. It had to stop, it had to become something he could control. Then it finally reached him, the memory of killing his own brother, Wolf pelt. Every bit of it was irrational, starting from when he first questioned him, to the point where the old tabby killed his brother. How merciless am I? He asked himself, looking back in his thoughts about his kin. Am I merciless enough to end all of their lives? ......Yes, I am this merciless. And just to start it, I will... Like his entire mind went into a state of murder, Brock knew exactly what was surging through his mind this very second.

OOC: Any luck at the public libraries? Kestrelpaw was trying to lure the wolves away from the others, but then fell off a cliff after the wolves drove him to the edge. He hit his head hard as he fell down the steep, becoming unconscious as he drifted away down the river. DarkClan couldn't find Kestrelpaw, so they assumed that he was gobbled up by the wolves. Barker found the apprentice downstream, deciding to trick him into believing that he was his brother after finding out his amnesia, so he could use his flair to accomplish his goals. It had been six moons since they last met, so I guess it can be hard to recognize him. Barker didn't come from DarkClan, but only temporarily met DarkClan before he was exiled from EclipseClan.
IC: "About time. What took you so long? " Ratscar answered sarcastically, focusing on the last two rogues that were standing, his ears twitched with irritation. He couldn't tell if he was happy to see Shadowpaw here, but he was glad that Kestrelpaw was saved, for now. Swimming had always been most DarkClan cats' nightmare, so he bet that he would only ended up drowning both of them even if he jumped down the ditch. Facing the last few of the rogues, the grey tom padded sideways to make sure he was wedging himself between the rogues and Petalpaw, muzzle pulled back to reveal a serious snarl. "There are obviously more of us than you now." Seeing that the EclipseClan cats were not hostile, Ratscar thought he might as well as included them. "How about all of you back off?" He suggested with a hiss as he spotted that the black-orange rogue shot him an angry glare.
Who is Felix talking to? Tiramisu's tail rose behind her in a hook shape, while her pupils thinner into slits. Knowing she wouldn't look twice her size even after she puffed her short fur up, the black-orange she-cat kept her claws unsheathed at all time. At first, it seemed like they held the advantages for their numbers, but as the battle went on. It was clear that the rogues didn't have experiences and willingness to put up to a real fight. Backing off to stand besides Felix, who was the last rogue around here, Tiramisu was sure this battle could not be won, despite her reluctance to accept defeat. "You still want to fight?" She whispered into Felix's ears, holding up one paw in a gesture that could be advancing or retreating, her golden eyes locked on the numbers of the Clancats.
Lone let out a painful groan as he felt the comfort of being on solid ground again, lying on his flank feebly with all four of his paws twitching on their own. He felt cold, so cold that he could almost believe that he was actually lying in a snowfield, gasping in unsteady breathes and struggling to keep his conscience. "Th...thanks." A puff of words was forced out of his jaws as he watched Shadowpaw's disappearing figure. Blurs of black painted in dots emerged to block his vision, then filled up like waters again. Lone completely lost his conscience the next second.

Again Woodkit let go of the rogue's pelt and dashed towards Lone. He appeared to have passed out, so Woodkit decided to guard him until he woke up. He flexed his claws, waiting for any rogue whatsoever to show up. He would shred them, just like a warrior would! Woodkit dragged his claws through the grass, thinking about himself as a warrior again. 'They can name me Woodfang! Or Woodtalon! Or...Woodclaw? Wood...stripe?' he glanced over his shoulder to the wood-like markings on his back. Then with his paw brushed a tuft of fur out of his eyes. He was still waiting.

Lune followed Solstice, noticing they were going more into the twoleg place. She blinked and looked around uneasy. She didn't want to come back to this place! She tried to gather the courage to speak up, and finally opened her mouth. "Solstice... I-I can't go back here." she mewed shakily. "I want a fresh start... away from here."

Solstice stopped and looked back at Lune comprehensively. "Uh, alright..." She pondered for a moment, trying to think of some other place than this twolegplace. "Oh, I know. There's a forest bordering the other side of the twolegplace, but I wouldn't recommend going there unless you can hunt for yourself. Plus, there are a couple large groups of cats that have claimed territory in there, so I suppose you would have to be able to hold your own in a fight too." She advised. "I suppose I could take you there, but only if you're sure." She spoke with certainty in hopes of reassuring Lune, who seemed to be shy by the way her voice had shaken when she spoke.
Frostclaw made his way back to Woodkit, wincing at the pain of a scratch on his shoulder. "You're not hurt, are you?" Frostclaw inquired, then went on, "I don't think the rogues will come back, but they may counterattack in the next few days to retaliate."

"Why should I waste my time on a fight, that not even a half-blooded Deathclan cat can turn the tides on?" Felix questioned, very much aware of the way things were turning out. "A full blooded one, with half their experience could. I'm not about to waste my time, so go get yourself killed." He sounded very much commanding on that last thing he said, as if he wanted her to do that. Turning back around, he dashed away, making sure to leave Tiramisu behind him. That Deathclan cat is right, I need to end this when the time comes, the tabby rogue told himself, stopping half-way from where he planned on going. Brock and Barker will both die, and Deathclan will come back. I'm going to make sure of that. He looked back in the direction he came from, expecting to see the black-orange she-cat coming towards him. Felix laughed when he didn't see it at all, but reconsidered the idea of leaving. "I've got one good slaughter to use, so why don't I use it now. Or leave it for another, worthy time."
