OOC: You certainly make it sound as casual as using coupon credits to buy special ordered stuff. XD Did Ratscar and Shadowpaw meet before in DarkClan? If they hadn't, I would modify my post.
IC: After the poundings of pawsteps had quiet down, leaving two motionless corpses and one disabled cat in the darknesss, a sandy tom emerged to the side by circling around the nest to reach the alley. He was too sleepy, so didn't think it was necessary to take the 'tall' way climbing over the fence like everybody else. "What is all the hubdud about?" Still irritated by being woken up by the raucous, Barker slowly padded out, his neck turned back as he licked his spiral brown stripes fur flat. The splashing and wet steps of his made him to look down with anger, then his face stiffen at the sight of the bloody corpse right under his paw. "Aaaaahhhhh!" He screamed at the top of his lungs, batting the motionless corpse with his forepaws several times until it rolled away, its gaping, lifeless face turned up. "Who had left this dead body here? " Barker demanded for the answer, and then his eyes narrowed. "The blood is making my paws dirty! " Deciding to search for water by the thunderpath, the sandy tom stumped away, his paws shook to leave droplets of blood behind him.
"You. " Ratscar turned after hearing the unfamiliar voice, his nose sniffed with a snort at the scent of blood. Of course had he recognized the apprentice, the memory of being chased down by canines wouldn't go away that easily. Then the sight of the light brown apprentice caught his eyes, bringing him to hastily leap forward to check her for any wounds. Relieved by Petalpaw's safety, though there was obviously blood on her head, the grey tom had a feeling of slapping his paw into his own face with embarrassment. He didn't know why, but he was just really glad. This is great. Found by other Clan's apprentice. They are going to start to think if we can't even take care of our own cats. Even though he might already knew where this was leading to, Ratscar welcomed Petalpaw with a relieved smile. "Where have you been, Petalpaw? Everybody in the camp is waiting for you to come back. Applefrost... I will explain it later on our way back. Now- " Suddenly, the expression on his face changed, not influenced by the emergence of the rogues from the other side of the thunderpath, but at the golden-grey rogue. His black jaw hanged at there, showing every teeth, while his eyes widen to the size of the moon, like he had saw somebody coming back from the dead. "Great StarClan. You, you can't be serious." Stammered shockingly, the gray tom just stared. "Kestrelpaw? "
Just when Lone was about to pad up to greet Woodkit's for his successful escape, he paused in half-step. Gleams of amusement in his eyes. "Nope. Name's Lone. Nice to meet you. " The golden-grey laughed the reply, beaming at the newcomers with curious glances. Then he realized that Ratscar was still glaring at him like he had seen a zombie cat risen out from the grave. Wait, Ratscar? Why does it sound familiar? "Uh, Shadowpaw, a little help here, please? Your friend here has mistaken me for somebody? " For once, he was not sure.
Finding Felix by her side after she looked away for a couple second, Tiramisu pouted her muzzle, obviously showing her dissatisfaction, though she still gave him a tail flick to welcome him back. "You are up. Those Clancats had killed ours. No need to hold back. " She didn't want to appear to be leading the rogues, but now it didn't look like somebody else would be. Spotting the Clancats up ahead, the black orange she-cat fasten her steps, while the some rogues had broke off to rushed ahead. There was no need for strategy now, just simple desires to get back on the foreign cats. "Attack!"

OOC: Yes. When Shadowpaw and Pepperpaw was tailing the Beta, Ratscar and some other guy found them.
IC: "I don't know who Kestrelpaw is myself, Lone." Shadowpaw meowed. Then he remembered. He remembered a thought. Which led to Shadowpaw remembering a conversation. "Wait, Pepperpaw said something about one of her brothers leaving the clan or going missing. She said his name was Kestrelpaw." He added. Then he winced. He might have just given out that he might be having a relationship with the Darkclan apprentice. He swung his head around to watch the rogues approaching them. "We can lose 'em after we cross the thunderpath, or we could defend this position." He mewed. Shadowpaw looked back to the forest. "Will I live to answer Lone, er, Kestrelpaw? Will I live to see Pepperpaw again?" He thought.

Petalpaw came to a panting halt at the side of Lone opposite Shadowpaw. "Ratscar!" She breathed a sigh of relief at being with a cat she knew and felt like pressing up against him, but held back. She simply cocked her head worriedly at what he said about Applefrost, but didn't press him; she would find out soon enough. The red claw marks down her forehead, muzzle, and nose still dripped scarlet blood, but she didn't care; she just wanted to go back to camp and curl up in her nest.
Frostclaw turned to see the cats emerge and perked his ears when he saw Shadowpaw among them. He kept watch and surveyed the area around them. Then, seeing the rogues charging closer, he meowed, "Shadowpaw, we need to get out of here now. I'll take Woodkit." He stood up and beckoned urgently for Shadowpaw to follow. He gave Lone a simple nod in presumed farewell, for he honestly didn't know what to think of the rogue at this point.
Solstice casted a curious glance askance at Brock and the other cat, then decided to join them. She drew in a breath of Brock's warm scent before examining the situation once she had padded up, then meowed, "Back off, Brock. Can't you see you're scaring her?" To the gray she cat, resting her tail lightly on her shoulders, she meowed reassuringly, "Don't worry, we won't hurt you."

"Alright!" Shadowpaw answerd. He nodded to Lone. "Go with whoever you want." He meowed. He ran across the thunderpath and into the trees with virtually no trouble. He turned around to watch Frostclaw and Woodkit cross. "You better hurry." Shadowpaw willed Frostclaw. He watched the rogues with narrowed eyes. He could have sworn he saw some sort of change in action. A rogue had panicked when he saw Shadowpaw, he started to run back. But he was shoved back to the front of the group. Shadowpaw purred in amusement.

Lune calmed down a bit after hearing that she wouldnät be hurt. Still, she wasn't so sure about all this. She didn't know these cats, and frankly, she didn't exactly trust them. She shifted on her paws, thinking. If I join them, I won't be alone.... but they might make me fight. I can't fight! she knew she wouldn't be able to survive on her own, but at the same time she didn't want to go with these cats. "What exactly is going on?" she asked quietly. "I'm so confused..." she looked around, shuddering when she saw what she thought was the body of a cat. What if that was her next time?!

OOC: That's what I thought. By the way, the Purgatory that Nightwolf had mention, is that a place where DarkClan cats gathered? Are possessing relatives' bodies common businesses?
IC: Ratscar thought about how insane today's midnight had been. Not only had he ventured out of the boundary without telling anybody, trespassing the EclipseClan territory, venturing into the twolegs place, where the rogues occupied, and finding out that their medicine cat had declared to desert them. Now he was astounded that his nephew, who was supposed to be dead, was standing right in front him, alive with flesh. Gah, seriously? Some part of him suggested that he really got somebody else mixed up with his dead nephew, but then he realized that there was no way he could not recognize, simply because he often regarded Kestrelpaw as the troublemaker. With another thoroughly examining glare at 'Lone', noticing the long scar along the golden-grey flank, Ratscar poked the still healing scar on purpose. Apparently not prepared for that, Lone winced and backed away, his green eyes gaped accusingly. "Ow! What was that about?"
"He even sounds like Kestrelpaw, too." Ratscar commented thoughtfully, turning his head to look at Petalpaw with a straight face. It had been six moons since Kestrelpaw's supposed death, so he was surprised by how mature the apprentice looked like now compared to the image in his memory. "A few sunrises later, you would be a warrior, Kestrelpaw. " Not really sure about what to say, Ratscar murmured ghostly, still just plain shocked.
"I am sorry to disappoint you, but I am not Kestrelpaw. For my whole life I have been hanging around here as a rogue. " Kestrelpaw almost burst out laughing at how all of a sudden everybody had started regarding him as a completely different cat. Oh, yeah, I have a secret family! Voila! Jokingly he thought to himself. The apologetic smile on his face faded away as soon as he found out that Ratscar was staring at him seriously. "I am no Clancat." Lone added quickly, like this was nothing but a misunderstanding. A little voice of doubt rang against his ears, adding tornadoes of questions. Then why don't I remember anything? Why don't I remember how I got these wounds? Is... this real?
A familiar, haughty voice screeched across the thunderpath. "What is going on here? Lone! Rip those Clancats apart! They had let the prisoners escaped! " Usually Lone would answered the rude question casually, but Barker's voice had made him whipped his head around. Breathing in his own fear scent, he took a tentative step to the angry-looking sandy tom, the ignoble one who declared to be his brother. To be honest, he was scared to find out. It would mean that he had been living a lie. "No, Barker. It's a no-go for me." Deciding to set aside the question later on, the golden-grey rogue looked back at the sandy tom evenly. The experiences with Clancats told him that they weren't as vicious as he heard, so it didn't seem to be necessary to attack and drive their Clan away. Before he realized it, Barker was already on him, hammering down a blow on healing wounds. Blood splattered as soon as the wound opened up, then more came streaming out as Barker's teeth fasten around Lone's neck. Both of them tumbled toward where the deep ditch was, leaving trails of crimson behind.

OOC: I'm not sure about what the DF cat's abilities are in the books really. All I know is, DF is basically the Warriors version of Hell. Purgatory is that place that Nightwolf takes Shadowpaw every so often. I'm not sure Erin made something like that. I haven't even gotten to the part where the characters in the Warrior series find out about Dark forest and it's inhabitants.
IC: "Dung!" Shadowpaw exclaimed. He sprinted across the thunderpath. A Ford pick-up truck rumbled at him at the same time he jumped into the street. The apprentice matched the Monster's pattern until it rumbled over him. He sprinted to the ditch, standing where Lone's, er, Kestrelpaw's blood lead to the ditch. His eyes shone like two moons. His fur was made an effect that looked like a black-hole was framed against the sky. Shadowpaw narrowed his eyes. "I hope you enjoyed finding your dead friends." He meowed as he tackled Barker away from Kestrelpaw.

Brock grunted, taking his time to leave Solstice with Lune, instead of wanting to stay. He headed back in the same direction he came from to see all of this, making a direct turn around the fence into the alley. There was no business for him with that kittypet, despite wanting to take whatever fighters who were able. However, with his mind set on eradicating any intruders, that kindness might not stretch far enough to even do that. In some ways, he didn't like it, but he also had accept his habits and go along with whatever settings he had placed in his mind to reset every bit of thought. The old tabby regretted how much of it was his bloody history, and he regretted that not enough was with his kin instead.
Felix halted for what might seem as no reason. There was plenty of reason for him, as a strong darkness surrounded him again. He thought it was just a mind game, and instantly went to the side of the thunderpath. It was all by an unconscious mind, completely enchanted by the darkness that clouded his thoughts. He always heard of things like from Brock as a sign of a Dark Forest cat, but never truly believed it. Why? He's never seen it first hand. Maybe he would now, and heard several whispers pass by him, coming out of the dark cloud. This was certainly no mind game, more like plain reality staring him in the face. It was unavoidable now, but the young tabby rogue was still moving, ignoring any traces of the clancats and just went straight forward. He stopped again, now seeing some kind of cat-like shadow stand in front of him. "Oh, please tell me I've eaten something that has gone bad."
"No, just flat out reality, half-blood," The shadowy figure of an unusually large dark red cat, maybe twice his size, said walking up to him. "Your disbelief towards the Dark Forest comes to a rest as it's real, half-blood. That's one reason I'm here, the other it to simply tell you something important." Compared to Felix, the cat was more of a Deathclan cat in size, intimidation, and look. He had plenty of battle scars on his body to prove it. His fur looked like it hadn't been washed, and all the blood dried up, leaving it stuck, pointing in every direction.

Without a second word, Frostclaw grasped Woodkit firmly by his scruff in his jaws and ran across the thunderpath, only Shadowpaw was already dashing back. Placing Woodkit on the ground between his forepaws, he yowled after him, "Shadowpaw, what are you-" But he broke off when he saw the situation. Immediately, he knew that he would not help unless it was absolutely nesseccary; he still had to stay where he was and protect Woodkit.
"Ratscar, they're coming!" Petalpaw mewed hastily, but the rogues had closed in on them. She nudged him in the shoulder with her nose, leaving a smear of blood from where a droplet of it had been.
Solstice casted a regretful glance at Brock as he left, wondering if she had pushed him away. Turning to the gray she-cat, she meowed, "We've just had some intruders about, but that's beside the point." She could smell that the cat was a kittypet, but continued, "What's your name? I'm Solstice."

"LONE!" Woodkit screetched. Something snapped inside of him, and before he realized it he was barreling himself at Barker. "GET OFFA' HIM!" he yowled, as he slammed himself quite hard into Barker's flank, with the force of a small monster. Seconds later he felt himself lashing at Barker as hard as he could. Woodkit didn't quite know what he was doing, but he'd had it up to the edge of his whiskers with Barker. "YAARGH!" He snarled as he sunk his teeth into Barker's shoulder. He had no idea what was going to happen next, but for now he kept at it.

Moonpaw kept traveling in the direction of Frostclaw and SHadowpaw. " Where are you guys?" he whispered to himself. Moonpaw traveld through the woods until he reached a place that was very familiar. Just over a couple bush was the thunderpath, any cat could smell the stench from here. With a sigh for the nerves Moonpaw walked through the bushes and went wide eyed with what he saw. He saw Shadowpaw tackle Barker. He also saw Frostclaw with woodkit just by the thunderpath.

Lune relaxed a bit now that the other cat was gone. "I'm Lune." she mewed, dipping her head politely to the other cat. She couldn't help but look around. There was blood on the ground. She shuddered. She hoped whoever it belonged to had gotten away safely. She briefly thought of the golden-grey cat she had encountered before. Was he an intruder? she wondered. Is that blood his? she hoped not. That cat had been kind to her. She realized she had been staring at the blood and quickly snapped her focus back to Solstice, hoping the other she-cat hadn't noticed her shuddering at the sight of the blood.

OOC: What book are you on now? Maybe we are on the same page. Is Purgatory the place where Shadowpaw and Nightwolf meet for many times?
IC: "Felix? What- why are you stopping? " When Tiramisu thought she could finally see some cats go in there and deal some real damages to the Clancats, now the long haired tabby tom just paused. He is not afraid, is he?
"Mouse-dung!" Ratscar tried to chase down Barker as soon as possible, but his path was blocked by the group of rogues that would rather fight against the grey tom than the odd, murderous smaller tom. Since nobody here had wanted to get themselves killed by going after the kit and the other black tom, too, basically the rogues had completely surrounded them. Picking on a warrior instead of an apprentice? Since when the rogues had reached an uncommon understanding! His right front paw raised up, instead of cuffing it friendly on the rogue's ear, he batted down at the skull. Seeing that the rogue was temporarily dazed, Ratscar advanced in to claw him until the rogue had turned and fled. "Come on, this is not your first fight, Petalpaw. Also, seriously, we have to do something with your wound. " Ratscar didn't mind the blood, but was just disturbed by the idea of how hurt their medicine cat apprentice looked like. His gaze focused on the golden-grey figure that seemed to have shrink into nothing but a bloody furball.
"EclipseClan cat!" Barker spat angrily as he recognized the scent, kicking and scratching until he had got a pawful of black furs on his claws. How dare him! Doesn't he know that I will be the leader of the EclipseClan? Talk to me like that, and you will get your punishment! Turning and rolling back onto his paws, the sandy tom didn't want to get his chances getting wounded, but he knew that the apprentice must be worn out right now after all the fights. Suddenly, Lone dashed right in and separated both cats on either side of him, his neck was open with blood streaming down rushingly.
"Wait, don't kill him." Still seeing Barker as his brother, Lone felt his head swirled, his loyalty was divided between the Clancats and the rogues. Trickles of crimson dropped down from his whiskers at each of his shaking breathe. The more air he tried to inhale, the more blood seemed to have rushed in. "He... " His shoulder slammed hardly against the coarse paving, being grazed as he found out that Barker had not only attacked him, but also was dragging him toward the ditch.
"Well, well, well, what a turnout. And what a traitor." Mockingly Barker meowed through his mouth, throwing the lower half of Lone's body over the ditch. One rogue had came to snatch Woodkit away from his shoulder and , of course, peeled away some of his furs. I would deal with you later, you mouse! The thrills of building up suspense occurred to him as he saw confusion and disbelief in the younger tom's eyes. "Brother? You got to be kidding me, what a fox-dung you are to think we are even brother. Who do you think you are? Just like your name, just always alone. You have no memory, so it serves me the best to use you. But now, the ridiculous things that you have done for your so-called friends had cost your life. Better die in the water. Oh, how much do I regret now not to let you drown and die when I found you moons ago!" Slowly Barker loosened up his jaws on purpose, letting the gravity pulled down Lone's figure. In a splash of water, the golden-grey figure went under the rushing water after falling down the deep ditch, which was too dark to even see the bottom of it. Soon the black water swallowed the pink red shades up in one gulp, continuing to carry more water down into the sewer. "Now, goodbye. Too bad you won't live to see my empire. "Barker laughed hysterically to boast about his success, holding absolutely no regrets or pity to the drowned cat, his tail raise up in triumph.

Felix didn't move at the sight of the dark red cat. He always believed the Dark Forest to be fake, it never made any true sense. Now that changed, the proof stared him in the face. A large cat made of the darkness towering over him, just giving him the feel like even his soul was being watched. I can't believe that I didn't listen to the truth, he scolded himself, slightly moving backwards. He must have come to play with my mind, just as Brock would say about them. Or is he here for a different purpose? The tabby rogue stopped moving, bringing back the amount of rage he needed to look the larger tom in the eyes.
"I am Bloodtalon, an elder warrior of Deathclan," The Dark Forest cat continued, still glaring right at Felix. "You a half-blooded cat, I know, and I've only come to say that things are going to change. Here, I stand before you to explain that those simple few who still live of Deathclan have are ones you know that you must lead." He stopped, lightening his stare, looking onto the clan cats he could see. "You are the only one whose been able to learn their history, because they've forgotten. Now, I want you to show me that you are willing to kill any traitors, first." His tail directed at Barker, while a dark laugh escaped his throat. "Don't kill him just yet, just make sure he gets the idea that those who respect not even those they are once close to should have honor."

OOC: I'll be on the 6th one in the 2nd season soon. But it requires effort to hit the bookstore. So it might take a few more days. >.< I doubt you're even on the same book as I am, much less behind me. The only reason why I know about the Dark Forest and it's inhabitants is because of A. Youtube. And B. The many RP sites I've been in for warriors.
IC: "You can expect to see me again, coward." Shadowpaw meowed to Barker. He threw himself into the ditch and into the water. His heart was pounding extremely fast. "Don't let me drown, you starry mouse-brains!" He prayed right before he hit the liquid surface. He had half a mind to swim around with his eyes closed. "Jeez, it's dark in here!" Shadowpaw complained in his mind. He just followed the stream of wavering blood. "Don't you drown on me, Lone... I mean Kestrelpaw, I mean. Gaaaah!!!" He willed the golden-gray cat. (OOC: And then Jaws came out of nowhere and ate both of the cats. xD) IC: The black-furred apprentice found that bundle of fur. In Shadowpaw's language, a waste of time. He fastened his teeth around the side of Lone/Kestrelpaw's neck, trying to avoid the wound. He quickly paddled upwards to give the rogue some air. He didn't pay attention to see if Lone/Kestrelpaw was still alive. "I hate suspenful moments."

Woodkit was still angrily flailing his paws, "Let go of me, darn it!" he shrieked. Without acknowleging the cat carrying him, he tore himself away from the grip of the cat and ran towards the ditch. He skidded to a halt at the edge of the ditch, small pieces of stone from the edge breaking off. Woodkit saw Shadowpaw and Lone in the dim light. "Hang on!" he yowled down. Desperately, he sunk his teeth into the reed that he and Applefrost had used to climb out earlier, and tossed it into the ditch, still holding it with his mouth. He moved it under his paw and called down, "Grab on!"

Moonpaw ran next to woodkit in the ditch to help out. Moonpaw looked down at woodkit while he was climbing down into the ditch. ~hes very wise and strong for a kit...i need to talk to Soulfire (OOC:i think it was) IC: and tall her about his braveness and that hes ready to be an apprentice.~ Now wasnt the time for him to think about that though...Moonpaw saw Lone and Shadowpaws heads bobbing in the water. Out of no where Moonpaw took the vine from Woodkit and stretched it out farther. He looked at Woodkit hoping he knew it was ony because he could reach the vine out farther then he could....Moonaw looked at the cats in the water with wourful eyes. ~I dont think im strong enogh to opull both of them back.~ he said to himself. He then remembered Woodkit. Moonpaw sharply turned his head towards Woodkit and yelled over the sound of the river. "Grab the end and help me pull them in when they grab on!"

With a gasp, Frostclaw ran forward to catch Woodkit before he had crossed the thunderpath, but pulled back as a monster sped past right in front of him, separating the two. Sighing in relief, he turned his gaze toward the newcomer's scent: Moonpaw. "Moonpaw, come with me and fight off the rogues. Don't attack the Darkclan cats." Then he rushed forward and over the thunderpath, following Woodkit. He skidded to a halt next to the kit and swatted back an approaching rogue, leaving deep gashes on the rogue's side.
Petalpaw nodded shakily and unsheathed her claws. When one of the surrounding rogues lunged forward she lashed out at them, managing to keep them away by fighting back to back with Ratscar. One rogue clawed her shoulder while another nipped her forelegs at every step. With a hiss of pain, she jumped away and ended up just a couple tail lengths from Felix and Tiramisu.
"Come on, talk." Solstice meowed agitatedly, "What did Brock do? Claw your ear off or something?" She asked with sarcastic rhetoric. "You do have a name don't you? What is it?" She kept one eye on Brock, and didn't notice that her tone had become more harsh in her impatience; she was afraid Brock might just leave without a second thought.

Lune flattened her ears. "I told you! I'm Lune!" she mewed back harshly. She didn't like the way this cat was talking to her, and was debating whether or not she should run off and find a better place to stay, or maybe another cat she could follow around for a bit. She remembered the stories her monther used to tell her when she was a kit. About cats that lived together in clans and cared for one another. Maybe I could join one of those she thought. She liked the idea.

OOC: Try borrowing the books from the library. It may take time, but they are free. There is got to be a library around your place.
IC: Before Lone knew what was happening, water rushed in through his mouth and went up to his nose, a couple of air bubbles were coughed out before they dispersed by the strong current. He tried fighting the water, but the more he struggled, the more heavy his body felt. After what felt like eternity, suddenly he rose up and broke out. Loudly he gasped, but then only to cough up more water. Patches of black blocked his vision, allowing him to be able to catch blurs of rainbow colors here and there. His legs swiped and jerked randomly, while his ears felt like they had been stuffed by honeycombs. However, he was sure that he was hearing a song inside his head. There... With his eyelids almost closed over his green eyes, Lone stared into the mouth of the underwater tunnel. At first, it was just a sound, like a rock fallen off and rolled across a thin layer of gravels. A steady beat drummed up from the hole at the bottom of the ditch, echoing in his mind. There is something down there.
"Foolish Clancats! You are all entire dumbest cats in the world!" Not enjoying not being the center of attention, Barker spat as he watched more foreign cats had come to Shadowpaw's aid. His act of punishment, ruined by those he never had seen before. Backing away one step, the sandy tom flatten his fur to make him twice as small. I should push all of them of the ditch in one kick! You don't even deserve to hunt freshkills for me! Before he propelled himself forward to strike at both Moonpaw and Woodkit, Barker ended up stumbling forward a couple of steps, his angry glances were wide with disbelief as he looked back. Rows of teethbarks soaked in blood glittered at the end of his tail, but there was nobody near him. Instantly Barker crouched down obediently, like he had saw an invisible dreadful beast. "You think you have won? He will never get his memory back! This is not over!" Taking more steps backward, the sandy tom turned and slink away out of their sights.
Ratscar froze and couldn't hear anything when the golden-grey pelt disappeared, like it was swallowed by the ground. He wasn't sure if he yowled loudly or not, but his wide open jaws were stretched with a snarl. Feinting a strike to the right, the grey tom ducked down and prowled forward, his claws meeting the rogue's tail, pinning it down to the ground. A painful yowl escaped from the rogue when her hindleg was bit, then turned into a whimper as she slipped away to hide. Whipping his head around to see if Petalpaw needed any aid, Ratscar identified a familiar figure. "Felix, so this is where you have been." His shoulder cringed with numbness as he felt the effect of the poultice wearing off, hitting against the chin belong to whoever Petalpaw was fighting. "Go help Kestrelpaw!" Before it is too late. Ratscar hissed at the medicine cat, adding the ominous sentence to himself.
