IC: Oh! I forgot about that–I accdientally deled the bio for Sunpaw. I was trying to rewrite Sunpaw's bio but just ended up making Snowpaw a regular apprentice. I still have Sunpaw though.
OOC: Sunpaw glanced over at Snowpaw and Swiftstripe as they ate. Nobody really knew that much about Snowpaw, besides the fact that she was part lynx, and came from the mountains. As for Swiftstripe, well, they hadn't talked since the incident about half a moon ago. Although she had to admit he was nice and pretty handsome.
Snowpaw took a bite of the squirrel, enjoying the taste. "This is good!"

Swiftstripe purred, glad Snowpaw liked it. "I know, they're so very delicious!" he said, quickly swishing his tail back and forth in excitement. He tried to think of when he had tasted squirrel for the first time, but he honestly couldn't remember any more. Probably way back, when he was still a kit. Because he didn't know the apprentice too well, he didn't really know what to say to her exactly. So, to avoid an awkward silence, he used one of the many opening sentences he knew to get a conversation started. "It's still quite early in the morning, look at the sky, I think it looks beautiful! It's how I imagine Starclan must be like, it must be an astonishing place!"
Swiftstripe then glanced over at Sunpaw, almost unnoticeable to Snowpaw. To his surprise, Sunpaw was looking towards them too and their eyes met for a second. Then, Swiftstripe quickly turned away again. Is she listening in on me? Am I in trouble again? A shiver went down his spine as he recalled the first time he got scolded by an angry cat. He had learned his lesson, no touching any medicine cat apprentice.
"Umm, so.." Quickly thinking of something, he continued his conversation, pushing the thought of Sunpaw looking at him from behind into the back of his head: "Are you going to join today's hunting patrol as well, or is your mentor planning on teaching you some battle moves?"

"I hope I learn more battle moves." Snowpaw purred. "Hunting is great though, and I like patrols." She purred. "My assessment should be in a moon or so." Snowpaw ate the rest of her squirrel and swiped her tongue over her muzzle. She pushed the scraps of the squirrel into a small pile. "What was your favorite thing to do as an apprentice?" She asked. "Who was your mentor?"
Sunpaw looked at her mentor, then at the camp entrance. "I'm going to go collect herbs. I saw a patch of feverfew somewhere earlier." Sunpaw got up and walked past Swiftstripe and Snowpaw, out of camp. She wanted to get away from cats for a moment.
"What was that about?" Snowpaw asked, glancing at Sunpaw.

"I love running!" Swiftstripe responded, his eyes were gleaming. He didn't even notice Sunpaw walking past him. "Starlingwind was the best! She taught me how to run as fast as the wind!" He crouched down to show the apprentice how he'd learned to fight.
"To be honest, I'm not very strong or big. The first few moons, I hated practicing battle moves because I'd always lose. Even when I got paired up with an apprentice many moons younger than me, I'd lose." Swiftstripe's expression changed from happy to sad, remembering feeling very alone, weak and useless. It had been the worst few moons of his life.
"Then one day, Starlingwind tells me to 'just' forget everything she ever taught me and just 'go for it'." he continued his story. As he went on, he started smiling again. "So instead of just clawing and biting at her, I run around. Circling around her, going left, then right, left again, right, left... And so on!"
Swiftstripe started jumping to the left and the right, imitating his younger self. "I hide behind some bushes, then I jump out again! And while Starlingwind is getting confused and dizzy, I see an opening and pounce onto her from behind!" he meowed loudly, leaping upwards and pouncing onto an invisible mentor beneath him.

Snowpaw purred with amusement. "That sounds like a good way to confuse a cat in battle!" Snowpaw liked the idea. She would have to try it sometime.
"I really love battle training, and running is fun too. The rabbits are fun to chase." She said, looking around at the camp. "My mentor always gives me really hard tasks." She shrugged. "It helps though, and I'll be made a warrior in a few moons." She flexed her claws excitedly. "I can't wait!" She was practically ready to jump and bounce around herself. "What do you think my warrior name will be?"

Swiftstripe glanced at Snowpaw. "Starclan knows. Maybe Snowpelt, because...". He paused and began to blush beneath his pelt. He didn't really know what to say, he didn't want to annoy Snowpaw by being too complimentary. But Snowpaw was waiting for him to finish his sentence, so he had to say something. "...I think your fur looks beautiful."
He turned around, searching for Sunpaw's gaze, but to his surprise she seemed to have disappeared. Did Sunpaw leave because of him? Or because of something else? Swiftstripe really hoped it was just a coincidence, he never meant for Sunpaw to feel hurt or alone. "Where's Sunpaw?" he wondered out loud.

"Thank you! I like your pelt too." Snowpaw said, then looked where Swiftstripe was looking. "Sunpaw? Why do you ask?" Snowpaw had noticed the tension between the cats every time they crossed paths or saw each other, and she always wanted to know why. Maybe they had a really big fight? But Snowpaw didn't understand why a medicine cat apprentice would have had a fight with a warrior.

Swiftstripe started to blush even more. Should he tell her what had happened between him and Sunpaw? For some reason, he didn't want to. He felt ashamed and stupid, and furthermore, he didn't want to make it bigger than it really was. After all, it had only just been a one-time flirt. "Nahh, I just don't feel that comfortable around those two medicine cats. They can be... a little overprotective of each other." he chuckled, cleverly answering the question without actually revealing what was going on. He felt like adding something to it though, to tease Snowpaw a little. "Medicine cats don't get battle scars, thus an old medicine cat looks just as beautiful as a young one. But Lightears did not approve."

"What do you mean?" Snowpaw asked, her ears perked in curiosity. Something was going on. "I thought you didn't like Sunpaw." /At least, that's what it looks like whenever you see her./ She thought, a bit suspicious. "What did Lightears not approve of?" Whenever Snowpaw talked to Sunpaw, which she rarely ever did, the apprentice was quiet and always seemed to be lost in thought.

"She did not approve of me pointing out that fact." he teased and chuckled, then finally revealed what had happened between them: "I told Sunpaw, that Starclan should stop claiming all the beautiful cats. And that she's lucky, because she'll always remain that way." He shook his head, laughing at himself. In truth, there was much more that he had said to Sunpaw, but he didn't want to go in detail about it and he figured he had already said enough for Snowpaw to understand he had tried to flirt with the medicine cat apprentice. Which was bad, very very bad. "It was just a joke, Lightears took it way too seriously. It was just once, one conversation, one encounter. Just a few minutes of talking. But yeah, it stuck, and now it's weird between us."

Snowpaw burst into laughter. "Did Lightears claw your ears! I can just imagine!" She could picture Swiftstripe talking to Sunpaw and Lightears snapping at him. She stopped. "So, you guys aren't on the best terms, then? It must be awkward when you have an injury that has to be treated." She said, looking around for the young medicine cat apprentice. It was true–Sunpaw was probably one of the prettiest apprentices in the Clan. If Sunpaw was a warrior apprentice, Lightears would not have scolded Swiftstrike.

Swiftstripe was surprised, he didn't expect Snowpaw to respond by laughing, but he was glad she did. Finally, there was someone who understood him, instead of getting mad at him for doing something bad. "Haha, yes. Pretty much." he giggled. "Do you think I should apologize or something like that? I don't really know what to do, but I don't want to make it worse than it already is." Now Swiftstripe knew Snowpaw wouldn't judge him, he felt comfortable talking to her about this subject and opened up. "I don't want to make it bigger than it really is. Because I was just... teasing her a little, to see how she'd respond. I didn't actually meant anything by it, but.. I think, maybe, they both took it the wrong way."

"It's your choice whether you apologize or not: I can't help on that one." Snowpack shrugged. "An apology would certainly be embarrassing to pull out." She held in her laughter this time. "Perhaps you can try to explain to Lightears as well. I'm sure that teasing a medicine cat doesn't mean the end of the world." She glanced around to see if Sunpaw was anywhere. "You know what I notice about Sunpaw? That apprentice can move as quick as a snake, and makes no noise. How are you supposed to find a cat when it can just slither away?" She laughed. "One time, when Sunpaw was pulling a thorn out of my paw, Lightears told her to clean out the elder's bedding, and just disappeared, like that. I saw her climb straight up the camp walls with a few herbs in her jaws."

Nahh, apologising would indeed be embarrassing. I'll just.. Avoid them for a while, wait until they've forgotten the incident altogether, Swiftstripe thought. Surely, they wouldn't remember such a small encounter as this forever, would they? "Haha, clever cat!" The tom purred, picturing Sunpaw sneaking away so she wouldn't have to clean the elder's bedding. She'd have to do it later, but it was still a clever thing to do. "I don't know Sunpaw that well, actually, but I hear she can be a bit cold. I've never seen her snap at anyone ever though, and a good medicine cat should be kind-hearted and caring, shouldn't they?" Actually, Swiftstripe had no idea how a medicine cat was 'supposed to be', but Lightears had always reminded him of his own mother. Their need to help other cats, heal them and protect them, resembled anyone's mother, so it was only natural for Swiftstripe to expect a medicine cat to be sweet and protective.

"That's Sunpaw. She and her mentor don't always get along very well, I think. Eh, that's medicine cat business." She thought for a moment. "I wonder how much stuff the medicine cats know about herbs. It must be hard to remember it all!" She said, glancing at the medicine cat den. "I kinda feel bad for them. They don't get to hunt or fight, or get a mate and raise kits. It must be hard."

"Particularly that last thing!" Swiftstripe chuckled. "But I see what you mean. I would never be able to remember and see the difference between all those kinds of berries ans herbs. I don't even know which ones are poisonous! I just keep away from them and let the medicine cats do their job." But there was one thing he was jealous of: "But they can communicate with Starclan. It'd be awesome if I could do that too, I'd talk to my parents all day! Or Starlingwind!"

"It's not like that. StarClan only gives hints of important events to come or quick words of comfort in dreams. Some cats have a connection with one StarClan cat who helps that cat in hard times and provides comfort, but only for a brief moment." Sunpaw approached them, glancing at Snowpaw. "I still need to chceck that scrape you got from the brambles. I smell infection. Also, yes, it is hard at first to remember all the herbs and remedies, but in the end it's worth the effort." She padded away towards the medicine cat den. Snowpaw glanced at Swiftstripe, her eyes wide. "What...?"

ooc: Could you use paragraphs to indicate when you switch between characters? Because otherwise it can get confusing.
Swiftstripe jumped in the air, surprised by Sunpaw's sudden voice behind him. He opened his mouth to reply to her, but the medicine cat apprentice had disappeared already. She indeed was as fast as a snake and as quiet as a mouse. "Alright then?" he mumbled, shrugging. He didn't really know what to say or what to think, he was just standing there, mouth open wide, completely baffled by what just had happened.

(OOC: Yep, sorry.)
IC: Snowpaw was surprised too, and stared at Sunpaw until she disappeared into the medicine cat den. "I didn't even hear her coming." Snowpaw said, glancing at Swiftstripe then back at the medicine cat den. "Did you see her face?" She asked. Sunpaw didn't seem happy at that moment, and Snowpaw was shocked.
Sunpaw sighed as she walked away. She had a lot to say to Swiftstripe, but she could never find a way to say them. she glanced back at them, a little sad. As a kit, she wanted to be a warrior, but knew it was her destiny to be a medicine cat. Sunpaw was happy with healing cats, but wished she could hunt and fight. "Oh well."
